class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h6>Policies<\/h6><p>Now that you have invited Minit Maids \u00a0into your home to provide a cleaning service, there are some reasonable policies we ask you to be aware of in order to provide a safe and secure atmosphere for both you and our employees.\u00a0 We have found these guidelines will create a better experience for both parties involved.<\/p><h6><b>Lifting and Reaching:<\/b><\/h6><p>Our employees are restricted to reaching areas no higher than a two-step ladder and not moving heavy furniture (can damage wood floor).\u00a0 These limitations are to reduce the risk of falling and injuries.\u00a0 The equipment we provide the teams does enable us to clean under, over and around most areas but not all can be reached.\u00a0 We do not lift over 25 lbs, so no over sized trash bags please.<\/p><p><b>Bed Making:\u00a0<\/b><\/p><p>We are happy to freshen unmade beds and for a small fee, change your \u00a0bed linens. \u00a0However, cumbersome beds such as; sleigh beds, bunk beds, trundle beds, and beds pushed tightly against the wall \u00a0are examples of tasks that we cannot fulfill in order to minimize the risk of back injuries. \u00a0 \u00a0Mattresses cannot be flipped per our lifting guidelines.<\/p><p><b>Bleach and Unsafe Cleaners:<\/b><\/p><p>We provide our teams with Eco-friendly, neutral pH and Green Seal cleaning products that have proven effectiveness to clean\u00a0<em>and<\/em>\u00a0sanitize without the health risks of harsh chemicals. \u00a0If we do use a product of yours it\u00a0<em>must<\/em>\u00a0be in the original container and comply with the above guidelines please.\u00a0\u00a0 We follow OSHA safety standards and our insurance carrier\u2019s compliance requirements for these known risk factors.\u00a0 Bleach, ammoniated and petroleum based products are especially risky with long-term repetitive use.\u00a0 As technology advances it is easier than ever to refrain from using these toxic irritants.\u00a0\u00a0<i>Call us<\/i>\u00a0for some great alternatives!<\/p><p><strong>Bleach products<\/strong>\u00a0are not allowed to be used due to the health hazards of repetitive exposure.\u00a0 If you choose to use a bleach product (i.e Tilex) for mold issues as in showers, we ask that you spray AND rinse after the team leaves the home.<\/p><h6><b>Keys and Alarms:<\/b><\/h6><p>Many of our customers entrust us with their key for reliable entry.\u00a0 Minit Maids uses a unique\u00a0<i>Key Management System\u00a0<\/i>that uses a tamper resistant key seal that is numbered only (no address) and cross-referenced on your service order.<\/p><p>We can use your alarm system if you like.\u00a0 Just give the\u00a0<i>office staff<\/i>\u00a0the instructions for arming and re-arming.\u00a0 Many alarm companies will provide homeowners with a secondary \u201cservice\u201d alarm code!<\/p><h6><b>Shoe Requirements:<\/b><\/h6><p>Shoes are required to be worn in the house to avoid the risk of injury.\u00a0 Booties are slippery and can be a risk factor for falling. \u00a0We do make sure the teams clean their shoes before entering a home.<\/p><h6><b>Indoor Climate<\/b>:<\/h6><p>When the temperature of your home is in a comfortable range, the teams are able to work more efficiently and safely.\u00a0 We ask that you keep the temperature at these settings:<\/p><ul><li>Warmer months: 68\u00b0 \u2013 73\u00b0 but no higher<\/li><li>Cooler months no lower than 67\u00b0<\/li><\/ul><p>Please adjust your programmable thermostats on your day of service to meet with these guidelines.<\/p><h6><b>Cancellation Notice\/Fee:<\/b><\/h6><p>We know for our clients, service and reliability are extremely important! \u00a0We will often turn down business rather than disrupt a regularly scheduled customer.\u00a0 In exchange, we must request that you provide us with a minimum of 48 business hours\u00a0<i>advanced\u00a0<\/i>notice<\/p><p>(Monday clients calling before noon on the previous Friday)\u00a0<i>if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment for any reason.<\/i><\/p><p>Emergencies will\u00a0<i>always<\/i>\u00a0be taken into consideration prior to charging cancellation fees.\u00a0 These fees will be discussed when you set up service.<\/p><h6><b>Arrival Window:<\/b><\/h6><p>Whether you are there to let us in or you give us a flexible entry arrangement,\u00a0<em>our arrival window is usually two hours<\/em>\u00a0with a first appointment around 8:30.\u00a0 Many factors come into play that can alter your arrival time that are beyond our control such as others cancellations or schedule conflicts and because of this we ask your forbearance so we can clean your home in the most economical manner.\u00a0 You are welcome to call the morning of service for an updated arrival time.<\/p><h6><b>Payment:<\/b><\/h6><ul><li>Check\/Cash<\/li><li>Credit Card \u2013 Visa\/ Master Card\u00a0 (Fully encrypted)<\/li><li>Online Bill Pay:\u00a0 scheduled to arrive before the day of cleaning<\/li><\/ul><p>Payment is required on the day of service.\u00a0 This can be left in a pre-arranged area such as in the kitchen, on the refrigerator or in the foyer area table. \u00a0In the event you forget to leave payment we will ask to place your credit card on file and use it as a back-up form of payment.<\/p><p><strong>*Returned checks:\u00a0 There is a $35 fee for all returned checks for non-payment.<\/strong><\/p><h6><b>Tipping:<\/b><\/h6><p>Tipping, while greatly appreciated by your cleaning crew, is not required.\u00a0 If you do choose to tip your team, you may include it in your payment or leave cash separately.\u00a0 When using a credit card to pay please call the office \u00a0so we can apply it
